An article in the CNN News Business paper stated that health care cost would rise about 6.5 percent in 2014. This will include office visits prescriptions and out patient services.
Due to health care cost rising faster than inflation the projected increase pales in comparison to the double digit spikes that were seen in the early 2000s'.
Health care cost continues to succeed overall growth in wages, but the gap appears to be shrinking.
Cost-conscious consumers are a major factor driving the slowdown.
Bearing a greater share of health care costs, many workers are limiting
doctor visits, delaying procedures and choosing cheaper providers. An
Affordable Care Act provision that went into effect in late 2012, which
aims to limit return visits to hospitals, is also playing a part in
slowing spending, according to the report.
There is a lot more to this article if you are interested. Some of the information is very informative. The article includes some talk about Obama Care
So if health care is something you are concerned about it will do you good to read the article.
So until next time,

Nelson Mandela H
Good afternoon, Fellow Blogger
I know that everyone has heard that Nelson Mandela is in the hospital yet again.
We should all keep him in our prayers and wish him a speedy recovery
I must say he is winning the battle. Especially since the Word gives us 70 years.
Well I was searching the Internet and came across this story about the great African leader.
It seems that the people of Johannesburg South Africa thinks that Mr. Mandela illness has become" too public."
The article ask the question, "Will native son and national hero Nelson Mandela survive his latest bout with illness? It is an unusable situation in a country where death is an off-limits topic due to local culture.
"This is a man who gave so much of himself to this country." said Roseline Wilson, an insurance company representative. He has suffered too much in his old age."
Nelson Mandela is 94 years young and is revered in this country and throughout Africa for his dedication to the freedom of South Africa's Over the past few months Mandela has been repeatedly hospitalized for respiratory problems originating from tuberculosis he contracted while in prison.
This week he was re-admitted to the hospital for fluid in his lungs.
To make a long story short, African culture holds that people do not talk about a person's death until they die. This is called "ubuntu" or respect for the dying and their families.
Darko Destanovic stated "I don't think he is getting the right respect that he deserves. People want him to stay alive for themselves ,not for him."
What do you think about that comment? Oh well, lets just keep him in our prayers?
So until next time Live, laugh and be Blessed
